Our Beginning: A Foundation Built on Service
Campany Diesel began with our shared commitment to service, dedication, and hard work. Ray and I began our journey together in 2009 aboard the USS San Antonio (LPD-17), where we served in the United States Navy. Our military experience shaped the values that continue to guide our business today: integrity, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to doing the job right.
Ray served as an Engineman, gaining extensive training and hands-on experience working with diesel engines, mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and advanced diagnostics. I served as a Culinary Specialist, where I developed valuable skills in organization, inventory management, bookkeeping, and daily operations.
Together, Ray and I combined our unique skills, knowledge, and military experience to build a strong foundation for our future. In 2022, we turned our shared vision into reality by establishing Campany Diesel. Today, we take pride in bringing the same dedication, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence that shaped our military service into the work we do every day. Alongside Ray, I am proud of what we have built and remain committed to serving our customers with honesty, reliability, and hard work.
Our Journey Home
After leaving the military, Ray and I returned to the North Country to lay down roots and build a future in a community we value. For Ray, who was born and raised in Carthage, New York, the North Country has always been home. Our connection to the area and commitment to the community inspired us to bring our skills, experience, and passion for quality service to local customers.
Our Commitment to Quality Repairs
Ray has more than 20 years of hands-on experience as a mechanic and technician, with a true passion for heavy-duty diesel engines and equipment. Throughout his career, he has dedicated himself to diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding diesel and gasoline engines. As an ASE-certified technician, his expertise ranges from rebuilding heavy-duty diesel engines, including the Cummins ISX15, to servicing classic gasoline engines and today’s advanced vehicle systems. While Ray has experience working on a wide variety of engines and vehicles, his passion has always been heavy-duty diesel.
